Senior Machine Learning Engineer

What we're looking for from our next Machine Learning team member 3 to 5 years experience with at least 3 years as a Machine Learning Engineer building and deploying models to production environments. Undergraduate degree or higher in statistical or computer science or equivalent. Both preferred. High level written and verbal communication skills a must. Ability to work in a highly distributed team environment is required. Highly proficient in Python and SQL. Experience with Postgres and AWS Redshift a plus. Proficient in Spark, R, and iPython notebooks (Jupyter). Deep understanding and experience with machine learning and Data Science methods. Applied statistics skills, such as distributions, regression, null-hypothesis testing, hierarchical Bayesian modeling, etc required. Experience developing and deploying production ready data and machine learning pipelines in a public cloud environment. AWS experience a plus. Must have basic software engineering skills and experience with source control, code reviews, and testing methods. Github experience a plus. Should have experience using ticketing systems for tracking work in an agile environment. Jira experience a plus.
