Job Description:
As a Web Solutions Project Manager you will define and manage the execution of web-based technology initiatives that help internal stakeholders drive business growth, and improve efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, pragmatic, confident, and have a proven track record delivering web-based technology programs/projects on time, in scope, and within budget. Talented at driving consensus and collaborating with cross-functional teams is a must.
Responsibilities
Drive delivery with excellence of overall project goals and objectives through planning, development, and execution, as well as creating and leading transition of the project to on-going support model.
Collaborates with project stakeholders, creative and technical teams in order to define scope, collect, and manage requirements, and translate those requirements into business and functional specifications
Partners with creative and technical teams to execute global web-based development projects
Manage translation projects
Work with external vendors and partners to implement web-based solutions
Ensure comprehensive project quality, by developing and maintaining risk plans; and ensuring effective and timely issue resolution and escalation
Effectively communicate status to both internal team and stakeholders that ensures alignment
Skills:
Proven effective project management, and business analysis skills
Demonstrable expertise in technical web-based project management, specifically with web technologies and translation workflows; familiarity with content management systems and translation workflow systems
Aptitude for quickly acquiring knowledge on the use of 3rd party vendor applications
Ability to motivate technical team members and drive delivery as well as effective expectation settings
Demonstrable excellent Business Acumen, communication, collaboration and partnering skills
Committed to take project ownership
Excellent communication and collaboration skills a must
Fluent English, verbal and written
Experience:
5
years of hands-on experience in web-based technical project management
Ability to understand technical vision and communicate it to both technical and non-technical parties
Experience managing a cross-functional project team of 10 or more people; consistent success in driving teams to meet aggressive deadlines
Utilizes sound and proven project management methodologies (processes, best practices, tools, and templates) and the ability to identify and implement process improvements to deliver projects more efficiently; familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies a plus
Proven experience managing business expectations, and providing accurate project estimation and project planning
Adept in problem solving and resolving conflict with the ability to manage internal customer relationships and expectations, through negotiation and partnering
Experience in training/mentoring colleaguesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
